Former Indian Minister and senior NCP leader BabaSiddique was shot dead by three men in Bandra East, Mumbai. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde confirmed two arrests, one suspect still at large.
Sanjay Dutt rushed to Lilavati Hospital, while Salman Khan canceled his Bigg Boss shoot to be there. Siddique was known for reuniting Shah Rukh & Salman at his Iftaar party.
Baba Siddique who was shot dead had received death threat 15 days ago. Then, he was given Y security. The incident reportedly took place due to dispute over Slum Rehabilitation project work. Mr Siddique was famous for arranging Iftar parties that attended by Bollywood stars.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde said two accused in Baba Siddique shot dead case arrested, one is from Haryana while another from Uttar Pradesh. He said, police investigating the case & will take stern actions. He said gangwar will not be allowed in Mumbai.
Former union minister Sharad Pawar raised the concern over collapsed law & order situations in financial capital Mumbai & Maharashtra. He said home minister should take the responsibility & immediately step down. He said, situation is alarming for Common people.
