Mamata banerjee Says, “it is their plan to resort to riots & my job is to stop riots.”
She says “We are secular. Navratri is going on; I extend my best wishes for that as well, but we do not want riots to take place. Common people do not involve in such things only political parties do. This is a matter of shame. Earlier, the ‘Laal’ party used to give statements about secularism. Today, ‘laal’ and ‘geua’ have united. We will fight alone. We are ready to sacrifice our lives for all religions…The duty of the majority is to protect the minority, and the duty of the minority is to stay with the majority…”
Mamata Banerjee on #EidAlFitr speaking about Ram bam came together, they purchased ticket to go there , they asked me are you Hindu ? I told them I am Hindu , I am Muslim , I am Sikh , I am Indian . They try to divide . They try to create riot . Don’t react. says Mamata Banerjee.
She says, “I was asked if I am a Hindu. I said, I am a Hindu, I am a Muslim, I am a Sikh, I am an Indian. What can you do? They want to divide and rule, but we won’t let that happen.”
