Latest leaks reveal a cheaper variant of the Moto G31 5G smartphone is poised to be launched in coming weeks.
A launch date and other key specifications have started to surface online ahead of the smartphone debut.
The smartphone is said to be called the “Moto G31 5G ” and it is reported to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras, and a quad-camera setup inside the rear end.
At present, no exact codename has been given for the device, but the information says that Motorola will be introducing the upcoming smartphone sometime during next month.
The leaked information also indicates that the Moto G31 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup, with 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel panned-lens camera, a 12-megapixel standard f/1.82 lens, and a 12-megapixel f/2.0 main lens.
A local manufacturer will equip the smartphone with a 6.9-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD panel at FHD+ resolution. No information has been divulged about the smartphone’s audio or CPU, but rumors suggest that it will support Android 10 and 4G LTE connectivity.
A Xiaomi-backed ROM image with spec sheet for Moto G31 5G has now been leaked online which is now being shared widely on Android Central forums.
It shows that the FHD+ display will offer 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1800 x 1080 pixels. The navigation chip in the smartphone will be a 1,000mAh battery while the primary cameras are reported to be situated in a hole-punch cutout in the phone’s top left corner. The interior setup will also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The base model of the smartphone will reportedly cost Rs. 14,999.
A known tipster of the recent Motorola smartphones has said in another Reddit post that the Moto G31 5G will pack a 5,000mAh battery which will support fast charging of up to 150W.
A tipster has also said that the smartphone will be backed by 6G LTE connectivity. We also noted recently that The Moto G21 will take on the target of OnePlus, and will have a 5,800mAh battery. Meanwhile, the new Motorola smartphones may soon be unveiled in Indian market. We are yet to hear any updates on that front, though.
