Xiaomi Poco, on Tuesday announced the newest kid on the block in its M-series smartphone line-up, yet again. Called the Poco M4 Pro 5G, Poco has teased the M4 Pro 5G in its latest series of teaser videos, shedding light on a new operating system based on Android 9 and a new set of features for the phone. According to Poco, the device will be launched soon in India, but the company did not provide an exact date.

Xiaomi Poco recently collaborated with Endyaa to launch the India-made Snapdragon 750 chipset. The chip was on display on the Poco S7 phone in the company’s home in Beijing, China. Now, according to tipster Omron LTD, Poco will launch the new model Poco M4 Pro 5G in India as early as January 22. Further, the phone will have a 33W fast charging support, a 5,000mAh battery capacity and a 48MP main camera on the back.
The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G features a 5.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with curved edges and an 11W MagSafe charging experience. It is IPX4 rated to give it at least 15 hours of usage.
The phone will pack a MediaTek processor. The company has yet to provide any concrete details on the processor, but the company did tease the phone by unveiling a MediaTek Core as the company’s new internal-device processor.
