Redmi Watch 2 Teased to Feature Larger AMOLED Display

The Redmi Watch 2 seems to be at the final stages of gearing up for its launch after various leaks and promotional images went viral online a couple of days ago.

The most recent teaser shows a new version of the model that was launched in October last year. The teaser shows a sleeker redesign and a new product name as it looks on a Chinese website.

The promotional video has also been shared by Weibo and shows a throwback of the competition series between MI Watch and buds Power Up.

We have now learned that the full Redmi Watch 2 will include a larger color AMOLED display. It is expected to launch on January 27 alongside the Realme X45T, likely to be announced on the same day.

Redmi Watch 2 Features

The upcoming Redmi Watch 2 is getting close to its launch and seems to feature a larger AMOLED display compared to the previous model.

What remains for it to be confirmed is its price and specifications. The production version of the Redmi Watch 2 is said to be priced at about 2,000.99. The price is likely to be revealed in the Chinese launch.

While the price will be revealed during the Redmi Watch 2 launch, the specs of the device are expected to be officially revealed on Thursday January 27. Apart from the AMOLED display, the next-generation design will include a hole-punch display. It will also have a hole-punch design.

The hole-punch display will make it a sort of traditional watch that people would use. It will allow the information displayed to be more readable than the normal 2-inch AMOLED display. It is expected to have a 400 dpi quality.

Pricing is still expected to be the same at 2,000.99. However, it will be delivered in Chinese variants and be available in multiple bundles. A single model will carry a price of 2,000.99 and a bundle will carry a price of 2,000.99 and 2GB RAM. The price will likely get slashed for a bundle.

The model will be ready to receive its own set of TPU, wireless charger, and scratch and water resistant come January 27.

It is expected to be shown to the world at its January 27 launch event. The Redmi Watch 2 will reportedly be sold via 6372 and 5689 Jiaxian stores in China. The two branches of the location will be getting the device by January 27.
