Vivo Y3s Launched in India With 5,000mAh Battery, Reverse Charging Support

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched the Vivo Y3s 5,000mAh battery smartphone in India.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a punch-hole-back design and a 120Hz refresh rate. A single camera is housed inside the main punch-hole which also houses a hole-punch cutout to house the selfie camera.

The handset is priced at Rs 4,999 in India, and it will also get a triple-rear camera that is housed in the 4.5mm-thick body.

The smartphone is available in 120Hz display variants that feature a scratch-resistant glass and no notch.

The device also features 10W fast charging support. Further, it is made of TPU (textured polymer) and has a Gorilla Glass cover.

It sports a 3,390mAh battery in India. The 3,390mAh battery features 11W charging support. Apart from power port, it also gets a USB-C port. It is under the company’s signature Oppo N50 series brand. In terms of optics, the phone runs Android 10, and comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. It is paired with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Other features of the smartphone include IP68 water and dust resistant, Dolby Atmos speaker, fingerprint sensor. The company is yet to reveal the pricing of the phone.

The phone will be available for pre-booking at Amazon on December 25 and it will launch in the first quarter of 2021. Further, Vivo also offered the Y3s 5 smartphone in its second generation – Y3s 5vF , which featured a 6.4-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

 Vivo is looking to continue selling the device through Flipkart. Notably, Vivo had launched the Y3s 5v – 5th Gen in the market in October. That device came with a 6.4-inch panel, and it had an 8MP main camera with an f/2.8 aperture.

The handset also featured a 100 percent max brightness and Dolby Atmos speaker.
